ABOUT ME

Tamara Higgins
An innovative executive, consultant, and entrepreneur, with a love of life!
Tamara spent the first 10 years of her career in manufacturing, specifically in the project management and engineering environment. She then spent the next 20+ years in construction operations in glass & glazing, entrepreneurship, and building enclosure consulting. Along Tamara's career path, she gained knowledge in business management, cash flow operations, estimating, project management, business development, engineering, and consulting. She has gained a reputation for doubling a companies size year over year with her participation. Today, Tamara is considered a tenured asset relating to building enclosures, whether design reviews, specification development, design-build consulting, field performance testing, failure investigations, etc. Tamara's breadth of knowledge and demonstrated achievements qualifies her in most C-Level Director roles with a high-level of leadership, ownership, accountability, client relations, innovation, and growth. For fun, Tamara is a licensed amateur radio operator and enjoys storm spotting, as well as emergency action planning and recovery with her husband. Together, they are active members of the Grayson County Amateur Radio Club, where they participate in various community outreach activities, run information net controls, host internal group events and educational activities, and act as a resource for members and newcomers to the hobby.
Tamara is also an animal lover and dog rescuer, but has opened up her rescue spectrum over the last year. She and her husband share 4 dogs, 1 cat, 5 chickens, 1 rooster, and 1 bunny. Their properties promote plenty of room to play and enjoyment of the outdoors. On many weekends, you'll find Tamara and her dogs out on her rural property in Oklahoma, filled with trees, creeks, and boulders that fulfill her love for nature and exploration.
